Women’s Varsity Lightweight 8 Takes Home Silver Medal at Dad Vails!

The team traveled up to Philadelphia, PA to race on the Schuylkill River for the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta. After near perfect racing conditions Friday and Saturday morning, the wind picked up in the afternoon and was so strong racing was suspended for roughly an hour. After racing resumed the Women’s Lightweight 8 raced down the course and earned a Silver Medal with a .016 second margin over SUNY-Buffalo, a Division 1 NCAA Varsity Program. Congrats ladies!

Congrats to Head Coach Rob Canavan who was honored as the Dad Vail Coach of the Year!
