07.26.04 - Congratulations to GT Crew Alumni Justin Steigerwalt and Jordan Smith, who both competed in the US Rowing National Championship Regatta this past weekend in Indianapolis!! Justin Steigerwalt (representing Malta BC) won the Men's Elite Lightweight 1x event and placed third in the Men's Senior Heavyweight 1x. Jordan Smith (representing AJRA) placed 5th in the Men's Senior Heavyweight 1x. For full results, go to Racetrack.

Congratulations to the varsity women for their gold medal finish at Dad Vails in the Lightweight 4+. This is the first Dad Vail gold for the women of Georgia Tech. The boat line-up was: Betsy Carter (cox), Anne-Marie Richards (4), Sarah Schwegman (3), Lisa Hofler (2), and Jane Woodrow (bow).

Other Dad Vail medalists include the Varsity Men's Lightweight 8+, finishing second; and the Novice Men's Lightweight 8+, finishing second.
